Comment: I purchased this as a replacement for a cheaper brand player at our church. We have used it several times since and it is easy to operate and plays beautifully! I love Sony. It's onscreen menu is easy to understand and user friendly. The buttons on the remote are a bit small, but not too bad.

Summary: Spend the extra 25 dollars for the more expensive sony dvd player
Comment: The player arrived with the dvd in the open position and it would not work when hooked up. The workmanship is pretty shoddy. I returned it to amazon and got a full refund. I then purchased the upconverting dvd by sony on amazon and am very pleased with the quality and the picture.
